Most conventional primers rely on synthetic ingredients to create a smooth base that suffocates the skin under non-breathable silicones.
Ours uses squalene, silica, and glycerin as breathable smoothing agents, plus organic plant oils and to actually improve your skin long-term.
Nylon-12 and Nylon-6 are “high-concern” plastic powders commonly used in mattifying primers with no federal restriction on their use in cosmetics.
Conventional primers use ingredients ending in “-siloxane, -methicone, and -silane,” which temporarily smooth but suffocate the skin.
Makeup should be an extension of skincare, which is why our primer contains aloe, jojoba oil, and vitamin E — for daily hydration many prefer to use without makeup.
