There are only five ingredients in our natural sun balm—meaning you know exactly what you’re putting on your body. We use non-nano zinc oxide, a mineral that’s safe, doesn't enter the blood stream, and has a natural SPF.

Our sun balm is estimated to have a 25-35 SPF. Re-application as needed for sensitive skin and active use.

Our SPF estimation is based on other FDA-approved products with the same concentration level (20%) of the active ingredient: non-nano zinc oxide.
Tallow by itself has an SPF of 4.
Scoop a pea-sized portion out of the jar and gently massage it into the skin. A slightly white appearance may occur, but it fades away within minutes. Use on face, arms, shoulders, legs—anywhere that is exposed to sunlight. Continue to apply until skin is fully coated.
Water-resistant UVA & UVB protection for up to 35-60 minutes. Reapplication as needed for sensitive skin and active use.
